Who we are

North Central Region administers 6 District Associations {D.A’s}these being Chesterfield D.A, Derbyshire D.A, North Staffordshire D.A, North Wales D.A, Staffordshire D.A, and Shropshire D.A.

In the past they also had Snowdonia and Chase D.A’s but they are no more.

When the Region was first formed there were only 4 D.A’s North Staffs was formed in 1972, Chesterfield in 1974 and Chase in 1980. The dates the others were formed are Derbyshire 1923, North Wales 1973,but before coming into our Region they were in the North West Region and formed from Liverpool & North Wales in 1956. then becoming Wirral & North Wales in 1967, and finally North Wales in 1974. Shropshire was founded in 1953 and Staffordshire became a section of Birmingham D.A in 1959 and a D.A in its own right in 1960.

Members can enjoy organized meets throughout the year, where they can socialize, exchange camping tips, and build friendships that extend beyond the campfire.
